A family business since 1983
Shad Thayer founded Awards USA in 1983, designing custom trophies for Colorado racquetball tournaments. The shop grew into a full awards and engraving business serving corporate, school, military and nonprofit customers across the country.
In 2025 his son Parker Thayer, a U.S. Navy veteran, became the owner. Shad and Parker's brother Chandler are still part of the work, so the same family care goes into every plaque, coin and trophy.
